The Powerful Benefits of MCT Oil by Gut Health Coach @mellissalaycy

Healthy fats are where it's at! Gone are the days of low fat diets (thank goodness) because healthy fats are now known to be very beneficial when it comes to creating a healthy lifestyle, they can help to improve our mood, increase our energy and support various systems in our body including our  heart and our brain.
MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides) is definitely one of the healthy fats at the top of my list, not just because of it's antimicrobial properties but because of its bioavailability! It can be easily digested and used much more efficiently as fuel for your body, it has a thermogenic affect too which means it can boost your metabolism and help you to lose weight. 
I personally use @coconuctmerchant MCT oil daily in my coffee which gives a deliciously creamy, dairy free froth when blended up! Some people call MCT oil 'brain fuel' and I certainly feel it gives me that extra energy and focus when I'm working back to back coaching clients.
